Current Therapeutics is a business grown from the seed of an idea in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The owner, Jessica Jones (she/her), has a passion for helping people be better, feel better, and do better. Before moving to Corvallis in 2024, she collected a corporate paycheck, but to quench her thirst for enhancing wellness she had also established a side-gig as a Licensed Massage Therapist. A graduate of Cypress Health Institute, she developed a set of dedicated regulars who she looked forward to seeing when her day job was over. She dreamed of dedicating herself to bodywork full-time.

In 2020, in conjunction with the pandemic Jessica was diagnosed with breast cancer. After a double mastectomy, chemotherapy, additional treatments and three more surgeries, she emerged stronger and healthier with a passion fueled by her experience. When she needed to see a Lymphedema Specialist, she found she had to wait months for an initial appoint and weeks between each successive appointment. This drew her attention to adding lymphatic work to her practice so she could be an additional resource to her community, so she attended Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy to become a Certified Lymphedema Therapist.

When she and her partner moved to Oregon, she was able to make her dream a reality and open her own massage practice, specializing in lymphatic work. She now sees clients with a variety of lymphatic system needs. Not sure if your swelling, puffiness, post-operative status, fatigue, immune deficiency, cancer treatment, injury, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic venous insufficiency, fibromyalgia, or lipedema might benefit from manual lymphatic drainage? “I am passionate about providing bodywork, guidance, and education that enables and empowers people to lead fuller, happier, more authentic, and active lives. I am respectful of my clients, meeting them where they are and for whom they are, doing my part to help them be their full self. I am authentic in my approach to the relationship and how I present myself. I strive to approach each client's case individually, providing an experience that is customized for their individual needs, rather than a "cookie-cutter" service.
